My 'Taiwan Trilogy' will be premiered in Taichung and Hsinchu on 1 and 2 Sep in Taiwan respectively.
'Rapsodia Formosa' was written in 1992 when I first time visited Taiwan and it was commissioned by the Republic of China Band Association.
And my second work, 'Fantasia di Hakka' was written at the beginning of August this year following 'Taiwanese Posy' (2007) which consists of five movements.
'Fantasia di Hakka' and 'Taiwanese Posy' are commissioned by Hsinchu Wind Orchestra which will be performed as the premiere of the Trilogy.
